Dave Barwick graduated from Dulaney High School as a three year varsity baseball player. As a senior, he was the team MVP. He coached the Cockeysville Sting travel softball team to great success for eight years. The highlights of his Sting coaching stint was finishing as runners-up in two national tournaments. Coach Barwick has been the varsity softball head coach at Dulaney High School since 2007. The Lions softball team is consistently ranked as one of the top teams in the metro area .
Tom Melito has been a teacher in BCPS for 27 years. His first ten years were as a 4th and 5th grade teacher in Randallstown and Towson while the last 17 years have been as an Outdoor Science resource teacher for the BCPS Office of Science. He has coached various levels of boys and girls soccer, baseball, and softball, both in house and travel teams, with the Lutherville Timonium Recreation Council. He coached the St. Paul’s School for Girls softball team from 2010-2014 and as assistant coach for the Dulaney High School varsity softball team for the past eight years. Tom attended Villanova University for his BA and the University of San Diego for a Master’s in Education.
